Yojimbo (1961) 1800'lerin Japonyası'da Sanjuro isimli gezgin bir samuray, iki rakip çetenin arasında bölünmüş bir kasabaya gelir. Bir sokak savaşında yeteneklerini sergiledikten sonra, en fazla parayı veren tarafa kılıcını kiralar. Alçak ruhlu ve hain insanlar olan taraflar, Sanjuro'ya ihanet ettikçe o taraf değiştirir. Sanjuro (1962) Belediyenin en yüksek mevkisinde bulunan valimsi bir adamın kaçırılacağını ortada komplolardan bahseden 9 samurayı dinleyen bir yabancının devreye girmesiyle başlar.Lakin bu valinin yeğeni olan iori yanındaki 8 samuray ile amcasını kurtarmaya çalışır ve sonradan kendilerine yardımcı olacak Sanjuro’ya rastlarlar. |
