Summary, etc Erkek hemşire olarak çalışmakta olan Greg Focker (Ben Stiller), uzun süredir birlikte yaşadığı Pam (Teri Polo) evlenme teklif etmeyi planlamaktadır. Pam'in babası eski bir CIA ajanıdır (Robert De Niro) ve evinin bodrumunda bir yalan makinesi bulunmaktadır. Aynı anda Pam'in kız kardeşi de bir doktorla evleneceğini ilan etmiştir. Tabii böyle bir ortamda işler biraz karışır. Hatta babasının her şeyden çok sevdiği Himalayalara özgü bir kedi olan Jinxie de ortadan kaybolunca baba adeta çıldırır ve evde tam bir cehennem hayatı başlar.
