Summary, etc Ömer Madra’nın yegâne romanı 25 yıl sonra yeniden okurlarıyla buluşuyor. Ama bu kez tek başına değil; Madra’nın 30 yıl önce yayınlanmış yegâne hikâyesiyle birlikte. Şimdi bu iki edebî verim tek kitapta bir araya geliyor. Üstelik Madra’nın bunca yılı değerlendirdiği -kısa ama özlü- bir sonsözle birlikte. “Bak, öyle bir roman yazacağım ki, içinde herkes ve her şey olacak. Daha doğrusu, hem hiçbir şey olmayacak, hem her şey olacak.” “Niye illa her şey olacak? Belli bir konuyla kendini sınırlasan olmaz mı?” Oğuz bir an düşündü. “Olmaz,” diye kestirip attı sonra. O arada cevabı bulmuştu. “Olmaz, çünkü bende bir Türk olarak uzmanlaşamama hastalığı var.” Acıklı bir sesle devam etti: “Biliyor musun, keşke ‘genel cerrahi’ gibi ‘genel kültür’ diye de bir uzmanlık dalı olsaydı. Yok işte, Allah kahretsin!... Onun için, romanda her şeyden biraz olacak çaresiz.”
