Önce her zamanki gibi bir memleket hasreti gibi görünse de bu ziyaretin altındaki esas neden çabuk ortaya çıkar: Tarık görevli olarak çalıştığı Letonya'da Monica adlı bir kızla beraberdir ve aynı ülkede çalışmak için tek yol evlenmeleridir! Kendisinin olurunu almaya gelen oğlunu düğünsüz evlendirmemeye kararlı olan İsmail, alelacele bir düğün telaşına girer. Ama çok hazırlıksız yakalanmıştır. yine de "Ben oğluna düğün yapamadı dedirtmem!" diyerek Tüpçü Fikret'i, Çetin'i ve köyün öğretmeni Saffet’i seferber ederek elde avuçta para yokken 10 gün içerisinde sazlı-sözlü bir düğün hazırlığı içerisine girer!
