Summary, etc Holling Hoodhood’la tanışmaya ne dersiniz? Holling çarşamba günleri öğleden sonralarını sınıf arkadaşları din dersindeyken öğretmeni Bayan Baker’la geçirmek durumunda. Bayan Baker Holling’i sevmiyor. Holling bundan adı gibi emin. Yoksa neden William Shakespeare oyunları okumak durumunda kalsın ki? Öte yandan herkesin endişelenecek başka büyük sorunları var. Vietnam gibi… Babasıysa Holling ve ablasının her daim düzgün davranmasını istiyor. Çünkü şirketinin başarısı buna bağlı. Fakat bela Holling’in başından eksik olmuyor. Kendinden profiterol talep eden zorba sınıf arkadaşları, öfkeden deliye dönmüş okul fareleri ve Holling’in sarı bir tayt içinde (!) bir tiyatro oyununda rol alacağı gece imza dağıtan beyzbolcu ve daha pek çok şey Holling’i epey zorluyor.
