Summary, etc Henri Lefebvre üzerinde çalıştığı son kitap olan ve ancak ölümünden sonra yayınlanan Ritimanaliz’de onlarca yıldır sürdürdüğü yoğun felsefi, sosyolojik ve teorik tartışmaların en özgün meyvelerinden birini okurlarına sunuyor. Çalışmasının merkezine felsefe tarihinde ihmal edilmiş “ritim” kavramını alarak onu mekân, zaman ve gündelik hayat bağlamında inceliyor. Bu noktada beşeri bilimlere kendine has bir metodoloji öneriyor: “Ritimanaliz.” Döngüsel ve doğrusal ritimlerin, saatlerin, günlerin, dalgaların, müzikal seslerin, insanların beden hareketlerinin analizine odaklanan bu yeni disiplin, toplumsal süreçlerin kavranmasında Lefebvre’in belirlediği önemli sac ayakları olan mekâna, zamana ve gündelik hayata dair bilgimizi derinleştirmeyi amaçlıyor. Böylelikle ritmi felsefi düşüncenin ve toplumsal teorinin odağına taşıyor ve Marksizmin özgün metodolojisini tahrif etmeden, potansiyelinin fiiliyata geçmesine de katkıda bulunuyor.
