General note "Bu kitap, Türk Ocağı "Türk Tarihi Tetkik Heyeti" azalarından tarih ve medeni bilgiler muallimi Afet H. ile Riyaseti Cumhur Umumi Katibi Mehmet Tevfik, Çanakkale Mebusu Samih Rifat, İstanbul Mebusu ve Ankara Hukuk Mektebi profesörlerinden Akçura Yusuf, Aydın Mebusu Dr. Reşit Galip, Bolu Mebusu Hasan Cemil, Ankara Hukuk Mektebi profesörleriden Sadri Maksudi, Sivas Meb'usu Şemsettin, İzmir Meb'usu Vasıf ve İstanbul Hukuk Fakültesi profesörlerinden Yusuf Ziya beyler tarafından hazirlanan "Türk tarihinin ana hatları" isimli eserin (Türk tarihine umumi methal) ve (Orta Asyada Türk tarihina methal) kısımlarının telif ve terkibi suretile vücude gelmiştir."
General note "Fransız müverrihlerinden Leon Cahun tarafından 1873 tarihinde verilmiş olup Ruşen Eşref Beyin Türkçeye çevirdiği bir konferans, mevzua taalluka hasebile kitabın sonuna ayrı bir kısım halinde konulmuştur."
