Historical films (Topical Term)

This heading is used as a topical heading for works about films that portray historical events or famous people. When used as a topical heading it is subdivided by the appropriate geographic, topical, and/or form subdivisions.

Works on the relationship and influence of motion pictures on history are entered under Motion pictures and history. Works on historical themes in films that are not themselves historical films are entered under History in motion pictures.
