This book offers a practical guide to embedding energy modelling in architectural practice. With expert contributions from leading architects and practices, this book illustrates architects' approaches to learning, sharing and integrating energy modelling across a range of design projects, in both small and large firms in the UK and internationally. Discussing the practical and business implications of embedding energy modelling in practice, this is an essential manual for the energy-literate architect.
Sonja Oliveira is Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Architecture and Environmental Engineering at the University of the West of England (UWE). Bill Gething is a sustainability and architectural consultant, a visiting professor at the University of Bath, a member of BRE Global's Governing Body and a CABE Built Environment Expert. Elena Marco is an academic leader, educator, practitioner, and researcher, and was recently selected by the A J as one of the 20 most influential Women in Sustainable Architecture in the UK.
