Özet: In this study, we tried to give information about the history, basic beliefs and nature of Theosebes who played an important role in spreading Christianity in Anatolia, Aegean and Middle East in Antiquity and Late Antiquity. The groups known as "God-Fearers" in Western languages and "Theosebes" in Greeks are mentioned in Turkish sources as "those who fear God." Theosebes, who had an important function in spreading the Christianity of Paul in Anatolia, also took place in Greek and Jewish sources before Christianity. The Theosophes, which we can take up to a group of monotheistic beliefs such as Theos Hypsistos, whose historical roots are probably Hellenistic, may be related to a number of phenomena that can be counted in Islamic culture. In this context, it is thought that the Theosebes and the Hanisar constituted the same religious group.
