520			_aAnadolu ve Ermenİler kızılırmak havzası demir çağı toplumunun Doğu Anadolu Yaylasi'na Büyük Göçü Arkeoloji bir öğrenme sürecidir. Son yıllarda Anadolu'da geliştirilen sistematik arkeolojik kazılar yaşadığımız toprakların tarihini yavaş yavaş -mişli geçmiş zamandan -dili geçmiş zamana dönüştürmeye başlamıştır. Öntarih (Protohistorya) zannedildiği gibi başlangıcı ve bitişi belli genel bir tarihsel kavram değildir. Yani Öntarih dünya üzerinde bir dönemde başlayıp bir dönemde bitmemiştir. Neolitik, Kalkoltik, Erken Tunç Çağı, Hititler'in Öntarihi, Erken Demir Çağı, Phrygler ile Urartular'ın Öntarihidir. Urartulardan sonra yazı geleneği yok olan Doğu Anadolu Yaylası ise, ikinci Öntarihini Geç Demir Çağı'nda (MÖ 600 - 200) yaşamıştır. Bu kitapta yazar, Doğu Anadolu Yaylası ikinci Öntarihini mevcut ve güncel arkeolojik bulgular ile tarihsel kaynaklar ışığında yeniden değerlendirmekte, kökenlerini Anadolu'nun Doğu'sunda arayanların gerçekte Batı'ya bakmaları gerektiğini kanıtlarıyla ortaya koymaktadır. Anatolia and Armenians Great Exodus of the Halys Basin Iron Age Community to the Eastern Anatolian Plateau Archaeology is a learning process. The recent systematic archaeological excavations in Anatolia started transforming the history of the land we are living in from myth to reality. Protohistory, contrary to popular belief, is not a general historical concept with a clear start and a clear ending. Which means Protohistory did not started and ended in a specific period. Neolithic , Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age are the Protohistory of the Hittites; just as the Early Iron Age is the Protohistory of the Phrygians and llrartians. On the other hand, the Eastern Anatolian Plateau, which lost it's literary tradition after the Urartians, lived through it's second Protohistorical Period in the Late Iron Age (600 - 200 BC). In this book the author is revaluating the Second Protohistorical Period of the Eastern Anatolian Plateau in the light of present and contemporary archaeological evidence and historical sources; pointing out with proof that in order to find the roots in Eastern Anatolia one should look to the West.
