Summary, etc "Felsefe-bilimin başta gelen etkinliği olan akılyürütmenin işleyişini sağlamak üzre Aristoteles, tarihte ilk kez dilden hareketle mantığı vücuda getirmiştir. Duyular ile duygulardan tamamıyla tecrid edilmiş akılyürütmenin doğru düzgün işleyişlerine ilişkin kuralların tesbit ile tayin olundukları mantık, felsefe-bilimin öncelikle felsefe kısmının olmazsa olmazı, zorunlu ruhsatıdır. Mantığa esâslanmamış bir cümle felsefî addolunamaz. Aynı şekilde mantığın üç kolundan biri olan matematik temelli ve dilli olmayan bir ifâdenin bilimsel sayılamayacağı gibi. Bu, neden böyle? Felsefe-bilimden beklenen bilgidir de ondan. Elde edilen, ilgili ve eğitimli olan herkesin üstünde sallantısızca anlaşabileceği, tereddütsüzce ittifak edebileceği bilgi olmalıdır. Gündelik yaşayışımızda dayandığımız, düzayak, yalınkat düşünmelerin ürünü kendisiyle iş gördüğümüz bilgiden katlanarak düşünme (réflection) sonucu kanıtlanırlığı, belgelenirliği, deneylenirlik ile sınanırlığı hâiz felsefe-biliminki tamamıyla farklıdır. Yine gündelik yaşayışımızdakinden ayırtetmek maksadıyla felsefe-biliminkine biçimsel (formel) yahut biçimselleştirilmiş (formalisé) bilgi diyoruz.3 {u2013}Teoman Duralı, Giriş{u2019}ten.
